Fashionista of the Week: Sara Al Madani

Hello my Lovelies!!! I hope you're doing well!!! Our new Fashionista of the Week is the lovely Sara, UAE based abaya designer behind the label Rouge Couture. Let's talk about style and fashion...

Hi Sara, Welcome to Dubai Fashionista :) Tell us a little bit about you?
I'm Sara Al Madani, 27, from Dubai.
Business Woman/ Fashion Designer/ Board Member at Sharjah Business Woman Council/ Natura Bisse Middle East Ambassador.

What's your favorite place to shop?
Anywhere Fashion exists.

Favorite designer?
Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab, Furne One.

Handbag designer?
I don't have a specific favorite handbag designer. As long as the bag is beautiful and fits my style, I'll get it, even if it's brand-less.

Shoe designer?
Gianmarco Lorenzi, Christian Louboutin.

Your last buy?
A Prada bag.

Favorite piece from your closet?
I would always say my black leggings because they go with everything, but right now it's my wedding dress that was designed by Furne One.

Describe your style in 3 words?
Feminine, Unique and so Avant-Garde.

What's your current wishlist?
I don't create wishlists, I am a spontaneous person.

Favorite fashion magazine?
Fashion International, Vogue.

Favorite fashion blog?
It's a shame but I'm not a blog person, so this is the first blog I'm going to start following and consider it to be my favorite.

A trend you love?
Any trend that has its own identity.

A trend you hate?
Nothing I hate at the moment :)

Fashion faux-pas?
I'm against any fashion related item that makes a woman looks cheap or disrespected. A woman should always look classy not trashy.

Favorite destination/dream destination for shopping?

Celebs style inspiration?
Blake Lively

Must-haves every woman should have in her closet?
A pair of Loubies and anything by Alexander McQueen.

Favorite piece of jewelry you like to wear?
Rings. I'm a sucker for rings.

Flats or heels?
Heels... always.

Anything you would like to share with Dubai Fashionista's readers?
I have one quote to share that I've created: "Innovate, don't imitate, because in a world filled with imitators, we need some innovators."

Thanks to the lovely Sara for taking time to answer these questions. Make sure to visit Rouge Couture official website hereto see their last abayas collection.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this interview :)
Wish you all a beautiful day!!!
