Fashionista of the Week: Shazah Ayub

Hello my Lovelies!!! How are you doing!!! Meet our new Fashionista of the Week, the lovely Shazah from Toronto, who's sharing with us her personal style and current fashion favorites!!!

Hi Shazah, Welcome to Dubai Fashionista :) Tell us a little bit about you?
I'm Shazah Ayub Khalid, 23. I'm from Karachi and Toronto and currently a fourth year journalism student at Ryerson University, Toronto.



What's your favorite place to shop?
Zara, Urban Outfitters, Topshop and H&M.
Online: Asos and Nasty Gal.




Favorite designer?
Elie Saab, John Galliano, Chanel, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen.

Handbag designer?
Chanel and Celine.



Shoe designer?
Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti and Charlotte Olympia.

Your last buy?
Alexander McQueen clutch and YSL arty ring.


Favorite piece from your closet?
I have way too many pieces I LOVE! Can't name one.



Describe your style in 3 words?
Hipster chic, Trendy and Confident.


What's your current wishlist?
Chanel Boy and Balenciaga cut out boots.


Favorite fashion magazine?
Vogue.

Favorite fashion blog?
Song of Style, Gary Pepper Vintage and Who Wore What.

A trend you love?
Statement Sunglasses and Distressed Denim 


A trend you hate?
Peplum tops!

Fashion Faux-Pas?
Showing too much skin, wearing leggings with short tops and wearing sunglasses indoors.

Favorite destination/dream destination for shopping?
Favorite destinations: London, NYC and Toronto.
Dream destination: Tokyo.


Celebs style inspiration?
Olsen sisters, Miroslava Duma, Nicole Richie, Olivia Palermo, Rachel Zoe and Cara Delevingne.

Must-haves every woman should have in her closet?
Fur coats, leather biker jacket, blazers and a pair of jeans that fit REALLY well!



Favorite piece of jewelry you like to wear?
Statement necklaces.


Flats or heels?
BOTH! I tend to wear flats during the day and heels at night!

Anything you would like to share with Dubai Fashionista's readers?
Your personal style is what defines you and distinguishes you from the rest so just be yourself. Don't be afraid to be experimental because fashion is all about having fun!

My design, the blue dress.

Casual, Girly and Trendy.

I want the Dior Lady bag!

My fav for shopping is Milan and streets of Germany.

I'm Sara Al Madani, 27, from Dubai. 
Business Woman/ Fashion Designer/ Board Member at Sharjah Business Woman Council/ Natura Bisse Middle East Ambassador.




What's your favorite place to shop?
Anywhere Fashion exists. 

Favorite designer?
Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab, Furne One.




Handbag designer?
I don't have a specific favorite handbag designer. As long as the bag is beautiful and fits my style, I'll get it, even if it's brand-less.



Shoe designer?
Gianmarco Lorenzi, Christian Louboutin.



Your last buy?
A Prada bag.



Favorite piece from your closet?
I would always say my black leggings because they go with everything, but right now it's my wedding dress that was designed by Furne One.

Describe your style in 3 words?
Feminine, Unique and so Avant-Garde.

I'm against any fashion related item that makes a woman looks cheap or disrespected. A woman should always look classy not trashy.

A pair of Loubies and anything by Alexander McQueen.



Favorite piece of jewelry you like to wear?
Rings. I'm a sucker for rings.

Heels... always.
